August 28-30, 2009 Westchester Ballroom hosted "The All American Dance Weekend" at the Villa Roma Hotel in the Catskills. The hotel was packed for the rainy weekend. Our band, "The Bronx Wanderers" had the crowd on their feet and "took the house down" in the nightclub on Fri. evening for an audience of 700. We partied until late at night, taught a vey busy schedule of full dance classes, and performed a "Dance with The Stars Show" to a packed nightclub on Sat evening which received rave reviews. We had a very exciting weekend. I would like to thank my terrific staff, the Villa Roma and everyone who joined us. The Villa Roma is anxious to have us back. Westchester Ballroom kicked off 2010 with the right foot!
150 ballroom dancers from NY, NJ & Ct. filled the Legion Hall
shortly after 7:30 pm on Jan. 1. It was very cold outside but the dance floor was very warm! The champagne was flowing and everyone was in a party mood! The first dance party of 2010 was only the beginning of a big dancing year to come!
Thanks to the studio volunteers, the dance hosts, The American Legion Hall and of course to our loyal dancers who have been dancing with us for 11 years now.
...The Valentines Dance on Friday, Feb 12 was crowded wth almost 160 people. The tables were tight but everyone was
in very good party spirits.
..The St. Pat's Day Party was one of the most fun of the year !

Westchester Ballroom stays focused on its' mission to promote and develop dancing as a mentally, physically and socially therapeutic activity for "everyone". We are happy to announce that we've recieved grants from the National M.S. Society for a wheelchair ballroom dancing program and from Westchester ARC for social dancing for the mentally challenged.
Groups are a lot of fun and an affordable way to learn
social dancing. We teach the latest dancing steps and how to lead
and follow intuitively. You also make friends who share your passion
for dancing. All of our groups are well attended and
you can join in at any time.
